- Acca Insurance
- A promotion that refunds your stake as a free bet if one selection in an accumulator lets you down.
- Accumulator
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap applied to a team to eliminate the draw, giving each team an equal chance of winning for betting.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- An online tool that lets you combine different outcomes from the same match into one custom wager.
- Betting Exchange
- A platform where bettors can back or lay outcomes against each other, acting as both punter and bookmaker.
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
- A bet on whether each team will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet early, securing a profit or limiting a loss before the event ends.
- Clean Sheet
- A bet on whether a team will finish the match without conceding any goals.
- Correct Score
- A bet that requires predicting the exact final score of a match.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible match outcomes, increasing the chance of a winning result.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet where the draw is removed; if the match ends in a draw, your stake is returned.
- Edge
- The perceived advantage a bettor believes they have over the odds offered by the bookmaker.
- First Goal Scorer
- A bet on which player will score the first goal in a match.
- Fixed-Odds Betting
- A bet with odds set at the time of placement that stay the same, no matter how the market moves.
- Free Bet
- A promotional token provided by a bookmaker that can be used to place a bet without risking your own money.
- Goal Line
- A betting line set on the total number of goals in a match, similar to Over/Under, often offered as a handicap.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A bet that combines the result at half-time and the result at full-time, such as “Home/Draw”.
- Handicapping
- The process of assigning a advantage or disadvantage to a team to balance the betting odds.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing bets on a match while it is ongoing, with odds that change as the game unfolds.
- Juice
- The commission or fee a bookmaker includes in the odds, representing their profit margin.
- Lay Betting
- Betting against a specific outcome, acting as the bookmaker and risking money that the selection will not win.
- Over/Under
- A wager on whether a specific statistic, such as total goals, will be higher or lower than a set number.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds appear higher than the true probability of the outcome, suggesting a positive expected return.
- Wagering Requirement
- The number of times you must bet a bonus or free bet before any winnings can be withdrawn.
